Case Background:
This is a federal securities fraud class action lawsuit filed on behalf of those who purchased or otherwise acquired Super Micro Computer, Inc. (“Super Micro”) (NASDAQ: SMCI) securities between February 2, 2024 and March 19, 2026, inclusive (the “Class Period”).
The complaints allege that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material facts about the company’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants misrepresented and/or failed to disclose that: (1) a significant portion of the company’s sales of servers were to companies based in China, with these transactions violating U.S. export control laws; (2) Super Micro lacked adequate controls to ensure compliance with applicable export control laws and regulations; and (3) as a result of the foregoing, Defendants’ statements about the company’s business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.
Current Status of Case:
On May 26, 2026, Motions to Appoint Lead Plaintiff and Lead Counsel were filed. This action is ongoing.
