Welcoming New Partners to KTMC

We are pleased to announce that Sarah Damiani and Daniel Friedman have joined Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP as Partners.

Sarah Damiani brings a wealth of experience to her securities fraud practice. Before joining the Firm, she spent nine years in public service, first as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and more recently as Counsel in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement. At the beginning of her career, she clerked for the Honorable Cynthia M. Rufe and the Honorable Joel H. Slomsky of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Sarah earned her J.D., cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Daniel Friedman is a seasoned trial lawyer who focuses on complex securities fraud and related matters. Before joining the Firm, he served for six years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of New Jersey, where he led investigations and tried significant health care fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud, and government fraud cases. Earlier in his career, Daniel served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen A. Higginson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Daniel earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
