Michelle Newcomer Appointed to Sedona Conference Working Group Steering Committee

Michelle Newcomer, eDiscovery Counsel to Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP, has been appointed to The Sedona Conference’s Steering Committee of Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production.

Michelle, who guides the Firm’s litigation teams on eDiscovery matters arising in securities, consumer, antitrust, and other complex actions, was chosen for her deep subject matter expertise and a demonstrated ability to build consensus on issues central to the Conference’s mission of moving the law forward in a reasoned and just way. 

She will serve a three-year term, working to advance professional dialogue by facilitating brainstorming groups, drafting teams, and Working Group meetings.

Founded in 1977, the Sedona Conference is a nonpartisan, nonprofit research and educational institute dedicated to the advanced study of law and policy in the areas of antitrust law, complex litigation, intellectual property rights, and data security and privacy law.
