Case Background:
A class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of those who purchased or otherwise acquired LifeMD, Inc. (“LifeMD”) (NASDAQ: LFMD) securities between May 7, 2025 through August 5, 2025, inclusive (the “Class Period”).
The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material facts about the company’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, Defendants misrepresented and/or failed to disclose that: (1) LifeMD materially overstated its competitive position; (2) Defendants recklessly raised LifeMD’s 2025 guidance, considering that they had not properly accounted for rising customer acquisition costs related to the sale of drugs for the treatment of obesity; and (3) as a result of the foregoing, Defendants’ statements about the company’s business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.
