Job Description

The Client Data Quality Manager is responsible for the allocation and prioritization of work among a team of Data Quality Analysts responsible for ongoing transaction data collection for existing clients.  S/he may also assist with client on-boarding activities for new clients.  The Manager will create and enhance department procedures and monitoring tools to ensure all work is completed timely and efficiently.  The Manager will respond to time-sensitive inquiries from staff, internal sources, and external clients.

Essential Functions / Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all work performed by the Data Quality Team
  • Build successful team by interviewing, hiring, and developing staff, including corrective action when necessary
  • Identify and communicate resource needs to management to perform all tasks timely and accurately
  • Perform both formal and informal performance measurement; provide performance feedback to staff on a continuous basis
  • Allocate/re-allocate work to ensure all work is being completed timely and accurately
  • Understand and communicate changing priorities to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Identify and implement process changes to increase overall efficiency
  • Review and approve staff work as defined by procedures or is otherwise necessary
  • Communicate regularly with manager, peers, and staff to resolve any client data issues
  • Participate as necessary in new/prospective client meetings to communicate data requirements

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required, previous experience considered in lieu of a degree
  • Position related experience requirements
    • Minimum of seven years of professional experience; three years of supervisory experience required
    • Financial services experience preferred; project management experience a plus
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to identify and resolve basic and complex issues with data formatting, manipulation, and export/import
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • An inherently logical and intuitive nature
    • A basic understanding of securities investments (stocks, bonds, options) and securities portfolio statements
    • Must be able to work overtime as needed with little to no advance notice
  • Computer skills required:
    • Strong Excel, Adobe, and Explorer, with a desire and ability to learn and adapt to a wide variety of software (custodian bank websites, internal databases and applications)
    • Comfortable typing both numeric and alpha characters

Job Description

KTMC seeks to add a Jr. Information Security Compliance Analyst to its IT Department, reporting to the Director of IT. The Analyst will be responsible for developing policies and procedures for the Firm’s information security by identifying potential gaps, assessing risks, and providing security solutions. Additionally, the Analyst will be responsible for continuously ensuring compliance with said procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts around information security issues such as risk management, breach response and regulatory compliance
  • Work with Firm management and external consultants to oversee the Information Security Program, continuously writing, reviewing and updating internal policies and procedures for effectiveness, consistency, and quality; ensure client security needs are met
  • Coordinate vulnerability testing; assess, identify, and escalate issues appropriately; ensure resolution of all discovered vulnerabilities within allotted time frame
  • Prepare assessment reports of compliance with policies/procedures
  • Complete audit questionnaires and security-related sections of RFP responses
  • Manage relationships with security vendors and auditors
  • Assist in vetting of all Firm vendors
  • Coordinate Firm Information Security Awareness Training; influence behavior to reduce risk and foster a strong technology risk management culture
  • Interface with all levels of management and staff to facilitate information security needs
  • Commit to continuing education and staying abreast of emerging issues, industry trends, known alert levels, etc.

Qualifications

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred; minimum of 7 years of security and technology experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Security certification(s) preferred (i.e. CISA, CISSP)

Position related experience requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of full time experience in IT audit or risk management required
  • Experience in performing security assessments, IT vendor risk assessments, and vulnerability management review required
  • Understanding of SOC 1 and 2 required
  • Understanding of NIST and ISO based information security programs required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining security procedures preferred
  • Experience with Program Management preferred
  • Experience with vendor management/vetting preferred
