Case Background:
This is a securities fraud class action on behalf of all persons and entities that purchased or otherwise acquired 3D Systems Corporation (“3D Systems” or the “Company”) securities between May 6, 2020 and March 1, 2021, inclusive (the “Class Period”).
The complaint alleges that, throughout the Class Period, the defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) 3D Systems lacked proper internal controls over financial reporting; and (2) as a result, 3D Systems’ public statements were materially false and/or misleading at all relevant times.
Current Status of Case:
On November 21, 2023, the Court held a Final Settlement Hearing and took the Settlement under advisement. On December 5, 2023, the Magistrate Judge entered a Report and Recommendation recommending that Plaintiff's Motion for Final Settlement Approval and Motion for Attorney's Fees, Reimbursement of Litigation Expenses, and Awards to Plaintiffs be granted. On January 4, 2024, the Court entered an Order adopting Magistrate Judge’s Report and Recommendation and Final Judgment. This action has concluded.
