Elizabeth W. Calhoun, a staff attorney, concentrates her practice in securities litigation. Beth has represented investors in major securities fraud and has also represented shareholders in derivative and direct shareholder litigation.
Beth has over ten years of experience in pharmaceutical-related litigation including both securities and products liability matters. Prior to joining Kessler, Topaz, Meltzer & Check, Beth was employed with the Wilmington, Delaware law firm of Grant & Eisenhofer, P.A. and before that was an associate in the Philadelphia offices of Dechert, LLP and Ballard Spahr, LLP.
Beth has, in the past, contributed numerous hours of pro-bono legal work to the Volunteers for the Indigent Program in Philadelphia where she successfully represented low-income clients in the areas of Social Security Disability and Name Change Petitions. In addition, Beth actively volunteers for a number of non-profit civic organizations where she holds leadership positions including a three-year term on the Audit Committee of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution safeguarding over $100 million in assets and Past Pennsylvania State President of the United States Daughters of 1812.
