RADNOR, PA (May 8, 2017) – Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP has once again been selected as the Class Action Litigation Department of the Year by The Legal Intelligencer for 2017.
Kessler Topaz has been fortunate to receive this honor in each of the past three rankings conducted by The Legal Intelligencer – including 2012, 2014 and now 2017. The Legal Intelligencer is the oldest daily law journal published in the United States, serving the community of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. The Legal Intelligencer covers legal news, court decisions, legislation, and analysis and insight by leading legal professionals. The Legal Intelligencer also publishes a variety of special publications each year, including rankings of the top firms in Pennsylvania.
The Legal Intelligencer’s staff asked law firms to share with them the big victories and important cases that demonstrate why clients choose their firm when litigation is on the table. Although the work submitted was done primarily by Pennsylvania lawyers, the work itself was done across the United States as well as abroad. A group of editors on The Legal Intelligencer’s staff discussed and debated the submissions before ultimately selecting the winners. Each of the winners will be profiled in the Legal Intelligencer’s Litigation Departments of the Year supplement, currently scheduled for publication on June 20, 2017.
Kessler Topaz partner Darren Check, on receiving the recognition:
"We are grateful to the Legal for again naming us the top class action litigation department for 2017. Being the largest shareholder litigation firm in our field that is based in Pennsylvania, we take particular pride in our PA client-base and strive, on a daily basis, to be the best at what we do here in the Commonwealth. We hope to continue earning this tremendous distinction for many years to come.”
